Musée départemental des Arts Asiatiques, Nice, 2022
During Muséomix 2022, we created an engaging family-friendly museum experience. It includes an interactive entrance with a holographic mascot, a web app, and spatial signage, enabling visitors to explore Asian myths, legends, and art pieces throughout the museum with ease.

Challenge
MuséoMix is a 3-day “museum design marathon”. We were charged with creating something with the theme “Go further – myths and legends” to explore Asian myths and legends while discovering the art pieces in the museum.
What we did
After lots of brainstorming and even an enactment of the user journey, we produced sketches, wireframes, a ton of graphic elements and recorded audio material. The end-product was a prototype for a guided visit for families and children consisting of an interactive installation at the entrance of the museum with a holographic mascot, a web application with audio content and AR and spatial signage throughout the museum.

How it works
Visitors are greeted at the entrance by a motion-activated HoloFan-generated ChiPlouf – the museum mascot and visit guide. By means of an app and floor signage, visitors explore legends and look for art pieces related to the stories.
